Yes! We schedule private tours by appointment only, we do not charge tour fees. We are here to help and educate you through out your planning process to have your best dream affordable wedding!
Each package we offer has a few unique items included, but ALL our wedding packages include access to a vast decor room, two get ready suites, honeymoon overnight stay, choice of field or The Lone Chapel ceremony location, beautiful waterfalls, bonfires, and natural scenic backdrops.
Lodging, bar, food, linen's are not included. Inquiry for more details and pricing.

We are committed to offering fair pricing with no hidden fees and no tour fees. To pick your perfect wedding package and see the prices, please click here. An average cost for 100 guests to host a complete wedding at the ranch ranges from $10,000 to 17,000, hiring reputable and professional companies makes for a less stressed day.
Holidays are subject to additional cost.
Please note we do require mandatory event insurance ($200). We do charge sales tax in addition to your choice of venue rental.
Once you find the perfect date for your celebration, a deposit of $500 will hold your time for 10 days (non-refundable), which is applied to your deposit of 50% of the venue package you pick.
A deposit of half the price of the wedding package is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event. We accept credit card, cash or check.
April, May, June, September, October, but really any month is unique on its own at the ranch. Our wedding packages are priced the same all year, we do not charge more for "Peak season's".

Each and every event held at the ranch is unique and special in its own way, our full 100% attention is directed to each special couple who books at the ranch.
When your date is secure and your planning process has started, Wicked Pony Ranch provides a staff member and a pamphlet that will give you the tools you'll need to ensure your event is 100% perfect! Don't stress, we are here to guide you until your big day arrives.
Yes, at WPR every detail has been thoroughly thought of! We have a designated area for vendors to load and unload.
Don't worry, we have you covered! The Saloon offers a great place for an indoor ceremony with gorgeous backdrops for photos. The Lone Chapel offers an intimate outdoor ceremony location for those drizzly days.
Our staff will accommodate and move tables and chairs as needed.
In most cases, allowing 1 hour on your event day to decorate will be sufficient time. Its highly suggested to make this your first priority when arriving at the ranch. The Saloon is decorated per season, all that will need to be decorated on the couples part is the head table and guests tables. The ranch provides a large decor room for each couple to utilize. Please note, booking a weekend package allows decorating to be done Friday, prior to your event.
PLEASE NOTE: If your caterer is providing linens for your head table and guests tables, its ideal for those to arrive prior to noon. Please also note, in most cases after dinner is served your caterer will request linens to be taken, we do not allow your tables to be broken down until the end of your event. We don't want you to feel rushed to end your event AT ALL!
In some situations we can offer an early check-in, this is determined at the final meeting we conduct 30 days prior to your event.
We do allow dogs at the ceremony only, with WPR approval prior to.
We do not allow animals in the buildings.
No, it is included in your venue pricing.
The ranch is rather large, WPR has a limo golf cart to accommodate guests who need assistance around the property prior to and after the ceremony. There is handicap parking at the Saloon.
We allow one-hour for rehearsal, typically booked on Monday thru Thursday (first come first serve basis). In our busy season's rehearsal may need to be scheduled the week prior to your event. For weekend packages, rehearsals are on Friday's.

Yes, you can use a vendor of your choice, however we require you to utilize our in house bar service (we have many great affordable customizable packages to choose from). Now with this being said, we are not in control of who you wish to hire for your vendors, such as DJ, officiant, photo, florals, etc. we are here to help suggest any details related to logistics for your day to go off just as you dreamed. Hiring a professional replicable wedding vendor who actually cares about you as their customer and loves what they do, will make your day less stressed!
For your choice of caterer we have a preferred list to choose from or you may select a caterer of your choice with WPR approval. After booking at the ranch our staff will give you a pamphlet for "What's Next" and many great tools and knowledge to direct you in the right path in your planning, when searching for vendors for your big day!
We have hosted many weddings over many years, we have seen some nightmares for vendors, who are unprepared, unprofessional and just down right don't care about their customers.
YES ! You can choose a caterer of your choice which you will work directly with (they must be licensed and able to provide certificate of insurance).
We have a list of vetted vendors in the St. Louis area, that we know will provide you quality food and service.
Wicked Pony Ranch DOES NOT REQUIRE a commission from your caterer ( this is common in the wedding industry and would inflate your total catering costs).
Your choice of caterer should be equipped and prepared with all necessary items for their service.

No, due to insurance reasons and liquor license laws, alcohol service must be provided with a license. Wicked Pony Ranch is able to provide full bar service for your event, we have several liquor, beer, wine or soda packages to choose from for any budget.
We have no minimum guest count on bar services. We have several affordable bar packages to choose from.
Yes! Also, the walls of the saloon are retractable and there are multiple ceiling fans for cooling. The open door breeze is great even on hot days.
The Ranch’s availability can only be reserved for weddings with receptions. In some situations we may be able to accommodate just for ceremonies, please inquire within. Our elopement/micro packages may work well for you. Check them out!
The majority of our seating tables are 60 inch round tables which seat 8 people. A 108 inch tablecloth will go about 2/3 way to the floor. A 120 inch tablecloth will go the the floor. We do not recommend the 120 inch length.
We also have 8 foot and 6 foot rectangle tables available.
A standard drop for an 8 foot table cloth would be 60 inches by 126 inches. Floor length (not recommended) would be 90 inches by 156 inches.
A standard drop for an 6 foot table cloth would be 60 inches by 102 inches. Floor length (not recommended) would be 90 inches by 132 inches.

Please note in most cases its not feasible for your caterer to provide lines, as the logistics are not feasible. Your caterer is responsible to provide linens for the food tables.
Also included in every wedding package, a large "borrowed" decor closet for you to choose your table centerpieces from.
Yes! Wicked Pony Ranch has multiple onsite cabins for overnight accommodations for over 50 of your closest family and friends, provided at an additional cost. We do provide a private Honeymoon cabin included in each wedding package for two! WPR has onsite options for RV hook-up's, inquire for more details. Other nearby options are hotels approximately 20 miles away in Fenton, Festus, and St. Clair Missouri.
Our Field Arbor Measurements are 10 feet by 10 feet with 10 rows on each side. We also have aisle hooks "shepherds hooks" for the isle in both white or black. Along with a large "borrowed" decor closet for you to choose your table centerpieces from, included in each wedding day package.
We will remove your table centerpieces, along with bagging your linens and cleaning the Saloon. WPR provides staffing during your reception to handle standard cleaning. Please enjoy your farewells on the Saloon porch. If you have acquired lodging, enjoy yourselves and we will see you at your departure.
Yes, conveniently located at the red barn. Our professional lit parking lot can accommodate 150 + vehicles. Handicap parking is located near the Saloon.
Each on-site accommodations has parking for overnight guests.
Wicked Pony Ranch is located just 45 minutes southwest of St. Louis. From St. Louis take State Rte. 30 west, also known as "Gravois" to HWY Y, make a left and go for approximately 2 miles, making a right on State Road Ww and go approximately 4 miles, turning left on Pillen Road, going until the end, Wicked Pony Ranch will be on the left.

Good question. We cut the cake! Please provide plates, napkins, and cutlery. Please note, china plates and flatware upgrade is an additional fee.
Please note, your caterer is responsible for plates, napkins and cutlery for your dinner service. If you wish to upgrade to China (silverware, water goblets, wine/champagne glasses, napkins, chargers, linens, China plate. salad plates, appetizer plates etc.) additional fees apply.
