On March 4, 2023, the rolling hills of the Field Arbor created a romantic backdrop for the end-of-winter wedding of Lynsey Duffner and Daniel Valleroy. The couple’s vow exchange was witnessed by five bridesmaids, five groomsmen, and an intimate crowd of friends and family.
The Color Theme: A Navy and Mauve Wedding
Valleroy and his groomsmen wore navy blue suits with blush champagne ties. Blush rose boutonnieres accented their suit coats. Valleroy completed his ensemble with brown cowboy boots.
The bridesmaids wore mauve floor-length chiffon gowns, each in different cuts and styles. They carried bouquets of blush and cream roses accented with greenery.
The Bride Wore…An A-Line Wedding Dress
The bride chose an a-line wedding dress from Custom Alterations. Duffner’s gown featured a beaded bodice and a full tulle skirt with lace and crystal details. The bride walked down the aisle wearing white cowboy boots. She carried a bouquet arranged by Drummond’s Florist that bloomed with cream and blush roses, greenery, and chic white feathers. Duffner’s hair was arranged in loose soft curls with the sides pulled back in small twists; Hair by Kait styled the bride.
The Wedding Reception: A Trio of Cakes with a Rustic Twist
After the couple exchanged vows, the guests and wedding party gathered for an on-site reception at The Saloon. Guests danced the night away to music provided by Applause DJs.
McArthur’s Bakery and Britt’s Bakehouse created a trio of rustic tiered wedding cakes that complemented the theme of the wedding. Each cake was decorated to simulate the texture of tree bark; the base tier of the center cake featured a carved heart inscribed with “L+D.” Roses and greenery details added a romantic touch to each cake tier. For guests with food allergies, the bride and groom offered a gluten-free wedding cake among the trio.
Best Wishes, Mr. and Mrs. Valleroy!
