Wicked Pony Ranch is celebrating another beautiful fall wedding! We want to congratulate Charly Potter and Louis Drining as they enter marriage and this new stage of their lives.
Charly and Louis’s outdoor autumn wedding was dreamy, romantic, and filled with close family and friends. The couple said “I do’’ on 10/1/2022, but before they said “I do,” let’s take you through their day, from getting dressed to cutting their cake to the honeymoon!
This special day started with the groom and his groomsmen getting ready together in The Shed, and boy, did they look sharp! Louis was gitty with excitement about getting married; he could barely tie his bowtie, so Louis’s dad stepped in.
The groomsmen dressed in navy blue suits, red ties from Men’s Warehouse, and brown shoes, while Louis wore a grey tux, floral bowtie, and brown boots.
Charly and her bride tribe got ready together in the Bridal Suite. They popped champagne bottles, drank mimosas, and did their hair and makeup. Instead of the ladies wearing silky robes to get ready, the ladies opted for matching oversized flannel shirts–super cute!
Charly’s beautiful, beaded lace, off-white dress was from Town & County Bridal. She was stunning. Charly paired her dress with white slip-on shoes that were covered in pearls–we love this idea so much! Her bridesmaids wore burgundy colored dresses from Azazie.
After Charly and her bridesmaids got ready, it was time for the surprises. Charly did a first look with her bridesmaids, followed by the first look with her dad--what a special moment between a father and daughter.
Instead of a first look between the bride and groom, they stood back to back and read the letters they wrote to each other—a very heart-felt moment.
The happy couple exchanged “I do” at the Field Arbor ceremony location. Louis walked down the aisle with his mom, and when Louis saw Charly walking down the aisle, a few tears were shed.
After the couple exchanged vows, the celebration continued over at the Saloon. Everyone from the wedding party had a fun and unique walk-in after the ceremony–from light sabers to fishing poles. Charly and Louis’s entrance was too funny–the couple ran through a paper banner, and that’s when the party started.
The couple gave a toast to welcome everyone who came to the wedding, followed by their first dance, then the cake cutting! For the cake cutting, Charly put on her denim jacket with pearls and her married name–great idea!
At Wicked Pony Ranch, we love an opportunity to showcase weddings because every wedding at the Ranch is unique. It’s so much fun seeing how each couple transforms the venues with their wedding decorations, flowers, and theme!
If you’re looking for a breathtaking venue with various accommodations, consider choosing Wicked Pony Ranch for your wedding.
Here’s what Charly, our most recent bride, said about working with Wicked Pony Ranch, “We could go on forever when we think back on our experience with Wicked Pony Ranch–from the moment we toured the venue, we were treated like family, and anytime we reached out with questions they were answered immediately. We were greeted with nothing but smiles and love throughout our wedding day by every staff member. Plus, the Ranch is filled with thousands of photo opportunities that will make our wedding photos stand out from the rest! Brenda truly made our wedding dreams come true with her attention to detail and commitment to us.” --Charly
